Today, I volunteered at the 25th Annual Vancouver Sun Run. I woke up at 6am, stood for 4 hours holding up a stupid sign, smelled the shitting stench of Vancouver’s BO, saw a woman upchuck right in front of me, and helped lots of people asking me for directions to get lost even more than they were before they asked me. Oh well. Maybe next year, I’ll actually run?
Nothing like a random day with the sunshine to back it up.
Refreshed myself with an Oreo Frosty at Wendy’s with fries. Went rollerblading while the other mofos got to ride their bikes. Randomly called up Lizette cos we can and she lent me her bike and size 8 flip flops for my size 5 feet. Burnt my thighs and glutes to exhaustion at Green Timbers, then switched to riding Julia’s stupid ass death-bike with no brakes.Other than that, I’ve had my fair share of man-made lakes and butt-cracks.
Now that’s what a Tuesday should be.
Kairos; a PraiseTEAM production on May 30 & 31. Selling tickets, so holla!
& I’ll be singing with the Senior Choir… now let that entice you, homes.
